Macroplastic 0.1 is a new-materialism sculpture exploring the potential effect plastic may have on our Anthropocene. Two hundred and two milk bottles were fragmented and reassembled through a process of applying continual heat and pressure to the microplastic, mimicking the process of fossilisation and creating a new material. Macroplastic 0.1 is a future fossil and a matter that has the potential to form within our environment throughout future generations.
