2020 / 3000 x 9000 / REPURPOSED PIPE, PIPE FITTINGS, BOLLARDS

Based upon the childlike idea of the home, Ysabella Tasovac and Jack Morellini created FORT, an installation that imitates the idealistic concept of owning a home within the suburbs. The site-specific installation created for the City of Melville’s Happiness Appears Community Art Trail, reflects the new suburban homes surrounding the park. Passing through the sculpture upon entry to Carawatha Park in Willagee, FORT emphasises the imaginary threshold present between private and public space.
